BIGsmall Artists is a informal group initiated by Fion Gunn and Ray Murphy. Our aim is to showcase the best of contemporary Irish and Chinese art and to provide a framework for new collaborative projects .

This website will provide links to all the artists who participate in our projects as well as showcasing exhibition images and critical responses.

In March 2009 BIGsmall curated two group exhibitions of contemporary Irish and Chinese art in Beijing, at Tsinghua University and the SiNordic Arts space. Funding and support for these projects was secured from Culture Ireland, the Irish Embassy in Beijing and Auruini Catering.
